The Film Society currently offers a number of publications that address the specific interests of filmmakers.

SF360.org
SF360.org, the Film Society’s online magazine, is devoted to daily coverage of the local film and media scene with features, news briefs, photo galleries, daily listings and a calendar of events. Currently, SF360.org has 80,000 page hits and 41,000 unique visitors each month.

SF360.org has added essential new elements for filmmakers, including comprehensive weekly In Production articles on local work, an Indie Toolkit section with articles on filmmaking nuts and bolts and an Opportunities section with timely information on calls for entry, available grants, contests, conferences and residencies.

Picture Talk
Picture Talk is the Film Society’s bimonthly member newsletter, covering SFFS screenings and events. It is mailed free to members. We expect to relaunch Picture Talk as a new and significantly expanded member publication in early 2009.

Our new bimonthly publication will be broadside format, approximately 32 pages per issue and will three main sections: 1) broad-reaching features on contemporary film and media; 2) new and notes on local films and filmmakers, with emphasis on SFFS and Film Arts Foundation members; and 3) information on upcoming SFFS programs, screenings, classes and networking events, as well as feedback from readers.

Release Print Archive
SFFS also proposes to make available on SFFS.org substantial portions of the digitized archive of Film Arts and Release Print back issues, from 2004-08, beginning in the fall of 2008.
